It is with mixed emotions that I write this post. After 10 years (2009-2019) of Driving Assessments and assisting with countless cases, I will be closing down Evolution OT and commencing an exciting new work role with Advanced Personnel Management (APM). New challenges ahead!! I still remember my first case at Evolution in January 2009, a farmer who had lost his right leg in an accident. Memories and experiences from all of the wonderful clients that I have worked with over the years will stick with me for a long time, and have shaped my clinical practice. Unfortunately this change means that we will be unable to accept any further referrals for private driving assessments, services to the general community or NDIS services. Fortunately, through APM, I am able to accept driving assessment or vehicle modification referrals that are insurer or employer funded (Such as Workcover).
