Here for Life – Seatbelts

The Queensland GOvernment has recently released a new ad campain focusing on the wearing of seatbelts when in a motor vehicle.  This innovate program appears to be presenting a great message.  Here are the details and the web link:

In 2012 we’re celebrating 40 years of seatbelts saving lives in Queensland. Even so, there are still drivers and passengers not wearing seatbelts, putting their own lives and the lives of others at risk. How do we convince them to change their ways?

Better buckle up

Wearing a seatbelt improves your chances of surviving a crash by up to 50 per cent. It takes no time to put yours on. Doing so could save your life or prevent long-term injuries.

So make sure you wear your seatbelt every time you’re in the car – even if you’re just going around the corner.
